Stir Fry

Stir fry is an excellent lean and green meal. This is so yummy, you won't even miss the rice.

Stir Fry
4 chicken breasts diced, or sliced how you like it
4 cups of broccoli florets
4 stalks of celery sliced
1 zucchini sliced
1 cup of mushrooms chopped
3 large garlic cloves smashed in a press
1 T. of cornstarch
1/2 cup of cold water
1/4 cup of oyster sauce
2 T of soy sauce

* Spray a large skillet or wok with pam and saute the chicken until almost done. Add the garlic and soy sauce. Add all the veggies except mushrooms. Mix the cornstarch with the water THEN add to pan with the oyster sauce. Saute until veggies are just about done, add the mushrooms and cook until it's just how you like it.

* Obviously you can use any combination of veggies that you like. Peppers, onions etc. If you find that your stir fry gets dry while cooking just add a little more water to the pan so the steam can cook the veggies properly.

  1. My family loves this meal. I have been making a lot of brown rice and the kids dont like white anymore. I also buy noodles that are whole grain they cost 1 more but i figure it is worth it. The protein is 10 compaired to 0. Now we hate the white noodles. Who told Americans we should bleach our flour????
