The Program

Diet has become a curse word, but I'm not sure why.  It simply means what you eat.  However, we have programmed our minds to think it means following a crazy outline of what you should or should not eat.

There is nothing wrong with a plan.  People have success with Take Shape for Life because there is a plan, or a program to follow.  Now, we still don't like to say "diet".  Maybe because of the negative connotation, but I think it is more because most people think a diet ends, and you go back to what you were doing before.  The Take Shape for Life program teaches you, through the Habits of Health class, how to change your life.  You can change your thought process about food and fuel for your body.  That is what "The Program" is.  It is a plan and a series of lessons for changing how you view food.
